Oh my goodness, we were driving back to NorCal from LA and this place was a fantastic find! The gentleman took our order over the phone and was super nice and helpful. The sandwiches we got were amazing and the portions were massive. I would absolutely come back the next time we are in the area.
A really decent place to get a sandwich in downtown Burbank. Service was friendly. I got the Chipotle Chicken, which was probably too spicy for my taste, but it was nicely prepared and warm. The house made potato chips were crispy and fresh. The atmosphere is bright, and there is indoor and outdoor seating.
This is a solid sandwich. The hard part is deviating from the sandwich you like to try something new. My go-to is the turkey club. It's perfect for me. I can only finish half of the sandwich though. I switch between the chips and the side salad depending on how healthy I'm feeling. I've also tried the burger. It's a solid pub style burger, but I wish they had fries as an option because chips with a burger doesn't do it for me, and if you are eating a decadent burger, a salad won't cut it! I've also tried the Greek salad, and it was ok. Maybe it needed a protein added, but it was just a bit boring. Service is good every time I come in and I do like the clean interior. It's a solid lunch place.
My wife and I have been wanting to try the Wild Carvery for a while. Upon arrival the place looks nice, it looks neat and without clutter, very modern. My wife and I walked up to the register and the gentleman behind it showed us the menu on the counter as well. We talked for a few minutes while we ordered. There was a pride in the food that they served there that was evident as we chatted. My wife ordered the Mediterranean Chicken salad and I ordered the Steak. The plates were beautiful when they arrived at the table. The chicken on my wife's salad was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For the most part I don't order chicken when I go out but this I would order. My steak was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ingredients were all fresh and each fork full was delicious. Some friends of ours joined us and I sampled their fresh chips, perfectly fried and crisp. From what I saw from across the table their gluten free wrap was huge!!! Even though it was counter service they made it a point to check on us. I highly recommend trying this place and we will be back happily.
The food here is fresh and amazing! The gluten free menu is considerable in size and they are careful to not cross contaminate with any gluten, they seem to be very mindful of dietary restrictions and are very helpful in making the right choices based on your needs. My Gluten Free friend had a special Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich with house made fries chips. I had the best patty melt with bacon and cheese that was cooked perfectly medium and served with the most excellent home made fried and salted potato chips. Such a good compliment to the burger!
TL:DR - Great burger, no parking, decent prices My fiance was craving a burger so we decided to try Wild Carvery. Located in downtown Burbank along that one strip with all the restaurants and no parking. At the time, I didn't know Wild Carvery was a chain, but it didn't really matter because they served up a top notch burger. I went with the King Pastrami Burger and it just K.O'd me. It is packed to the gills with meat, and eating just half of it, I could feel my arteries closing up. The burger was juicy the pastrami was juicy, and it was just exactly the type of flavor that you want when you bite into a burger. The burger was probably better than most restaurant burgers I have had. Just perfectly cooked with tons of flavor. It also came with a ton of chips and I found myself engorged by the time I finished it all. Here's my boomer take, no burger should cost more than $10. Coming in at $21 for the king pastrami the price is high, but in comparison to other burgers of this quality it's a good deal. Most other burger joints will charge around $18 for a plain burger. If you're looking for a good burger, try them out!
I have now been here back to back days and both co-owners, I now know by name. Sam and Vahe are GOLD! I aim to try every single item from their menu. I've influenced close friends to come as well. And I'm taking any out-of-towners here too. Legit, do not sleep on this place.
What a hidden gem in the heart of burbank. Ya'll guys need to try this spot and you wont be disappointed. First of all the place is very clean and feels very very nice. Design is so modern. Staff are very nice especially the owner (i think). Always checking up on you and making sure you are satisfied. Now the food. Portions are big and will make you so full at the end of your meal. Food is top of the line taste. Presentation is beautiful. On the day my wife and I dine in, We ordered the burger with the pastrami forgot the name with chips and they were bomb. The crispy chips are so addicting. My wife had the steak panini with their "real potatoe fries"! Both were good. The next time we go there, we'll try their other menu, their salad looks good! Their price is very reasonable. Overall 5 stars.
Huge, filling and fresh burgers! Love! I decided to treat myself to a burger as pre-marathon fuel, and this place did not disappoint! I don't normally eat burgers at all, so I truly had no expectations but Wild Carvery was deliiiiciousss. I ordered the Wild Burger - pretty simple and standard. The patty was cooked medium rare and very juicy. Bun was slightly sweet and fluffy :-) Comes with a side of chips or salad!
